“Working the corporate ladder,” Dixon Foods Owner / Operator, Wade Dixon, joined the family business at the age of 12, wiping down tables and cleaning bathrooms. While attending college in Wilson, NC at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College), Wade learned about the operations of Dixon Foods both in the restaurants and the office.

After graduating from college, Wade completed the management development program at Hamburger University. He became a McDonald’s franchisee in 1989 and continues to expand the Dixon Food’s market. Wade is a very “hands-on” owner/operator, and enjoys helping his managers and staff to achieve professional growth. He spends as much time as possible with his two lovely daughters at Lake Gaston. Dixon Foods has been in operation as a McDonald’s franchisee since April 14, 1970. In the last 43 years,we have methodically expanded from our base operations in Wilson to more than 20 stores throughout Eastern North Carolina.
