Women’s Conference 2024
The Norlina Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) would like to announce their seventh annual women’s conference.
Jodie Barrett from Faithfully Following Ministries in Roanoke Rapids, will be our guest speaker. Jodie is a girl who loves Jesus and sharing His Word. She is a wife to her high school sweetheart, Thomas, a mother to their two adult children, and GiGi to two amazing grandchildren. She resides in Roanoke Rapids. Her passion is teaching women the Word of God and helping them unearth the treasures of God’s love letter, verse by verse. She looks for joy in the everyday things like laundry, waiting in line, and cooking; considering each an opportunity to share God’s love with others!
Donna Fender, from Faithfully Following Ministries in Roanoke Rapids, will be our guest soloist. Donna is a wife to Justin and mother to three amazing children, Cailee, Austin, and Sara. She shares about the Lord every day in her physical therapist practice, reminding others that God is our Defender. She enjoys singing to anyone who will listen, including her patients. Donna is known for her ability to bring laughter and joy to a room with her thoughtful stories and beautiful voice. Her gift of sharing God’s love through song, leaves women resting at the foot of the cross as they grow closer to Jesus, note by note.
The conference will be held on Friday, April 26th from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Due to a generous donation, the price for this year’s conference has been reduced to half price. The registration fee is $10 each. Free refreshments will be offered during breaks and lunch will be provided on Saturday.
The deadline for registration is April 15, 2024. If capacity is not reached, we will accept registrations at the door. Registration forms make be picked up at Norlina Baptist Church, 402 Division Street, Norlina, NC. Forms may be emailed upon request.
